Now Do This...

I returned to Ragdale yesterday and am settling in for a four-week residency. I am elated. It is even more beautiful than I remembered. I brought a small stack of books with me - What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami, Geek Love by Katherine Dunn, and My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor - but I'm also looking forward to stumbling upon some unexpected treasures hidden in the shelves here.

As soon as I got my laptop wifi set up in my studio, I, out of habit (addiction?), opened my browser and started looking at the various pages I always look at during the day. I have a simple web program called Now Do This tabbed as one of my homepages. I started using it recently to remind me of various tasks that need to be done. The advantage (for people like me) is that they display one by one, as they come, and then disappear one by one, as they go. No big list to distract and overwhelm.

But now that I'm away from regular life with its regular and erratic tasks and chores, there's only one item on my list: WRITE.
